With this year's unprecedented shipping delays, holiday shoppers need all the help they can get. Early Black Friday deals are nothing newâ€"it feels like retailers advertise “Black Friday sales” all year longâ€"but now that we're actually approaching the official day, the name has some merit. Phone, Laptop, and Headphone DealsImage may contain Electronics Pc Computer and Laptop

Acer Chromebook Spin 713.

Photograph: AcerAcer Chromebook Spin 713 Laptop for $529 ($170 off)

Best Buy

The Acer Chromebook Spin 713 is one of the best Chromebooks on the market. The pretty display can be used as a tablet, thanks to its 2-in-1 design, and the battery life will keep the machine going for hours (no matter what configuration is being used). This beats other good deals we've tracked for this particular model.

Jabra Elite 85T Wireless Earbuds for $150 ($80 off)

Amazon, Best Buy

This recent price drop beats every other deal we've tracked for the Jabra Elite 85T (9/10, WIRED Recommends). These rugged earbuds have physical control buttons, baked-in water resistance, active noise cancellation, and a two-year warranty. They're especially good for workouts.

Beats Solo3 Wireless Headphones for $100 ($30 off)

Amazon, Target

I (Louryn) own and love these headphones. I've had them for years. They're not the latest or greatest, and they don't have active noise-canceling, but they do pair super-fast with iOS devices, thanks to the W1 chip inside (Android users can still pair just fine too). I like the stylish look and the comfortable ear cups, plus the signature bass-heavy Beats equalization sounds especially great when listening to rap and metal.

Samsung 870 Evo 500-Gigabyte Internal SSD for $65 ($30 off)

Amazon, Best Buy

Solid state drives don't have moving parts, making them extra expeditious compared to hard disk drives. An internal SSD like this one can be used to speed up your existing computer or future desktop. This price is $5 higher than the lowest WIRED has tracked.

Samsung T7 SSD

Samsung T7 Portable SSD.

Amazon, Best Buy

In our guide to the Best Portable Storage Drives, we highlight this as the best option when it comes to speed. The transfer times are blindingly fast. Typically, the biggest drawback is its price, but this deal matches a low we've seen just once before (during last year's holiday shopping season). Smaller size options are also on sale.

Western Digital 18-Terabyte External Hard Drive for $340 ($80 off)

Amazon, Best Buy

This ain't your average hard drive. It's an absolute powerhouse, a beefy behemoth meant to be used for big backups. We recommend it in our guide to the Best External Hard Drives. It's not speedy, but that's not what this is meant for. You don't need to go all out and get this in the largest capacity; other, smaller sizes are also on sale. Check our guide on How to Back Up Your Digital Life for more guidance.

Motorola Moto G Power 2021 Unlocked Smartphone for $180 ($70 off)

Amazon, Target, Best Buy

For those in the market for a good, cheap smartphone, this is a solid pick. The battery life is incredible (up to three days on a single charge), and the performance is decent. You won't be floored by the camera, but if you don't need all the bells and whistles of a $1,000 glass slab, the Moto G Power is just fine. Here's our full review.

Motorola One 5G Ace Unlocked Smartphone for $300 ($30 off)

Amazon

The two-day battery, 5G connectivity, and NFC support make this a nicer upgrade pick over the Moto G Power. It's why it's in our guide to the Best Android Phones. At first glance, the $30 discount might not seem too stellar, but it matches the best deal we've tracked for this smartphone.

TV, Smart Home, and Home Office DealsRazer Kiyo Pro webcam

Razer Kiyo Pro.

Photograph: AmazonRazer Kiyo Pro for $130 ($70 off)

Amazon

The Razer Kiyo Pro is one of our favorite webcams, but its MSRP is too high. This is a much more reasonable price for this 1080p camera. It has a much bigger sensor than its more affordable sibling, allowing it to deliver great picture quality, though you'll need to fine-tune some of the settings in Razer's Synapse app. This deal brings the price down lower than we've ever seen it.

Razer Viper Ambidextrous Gaming Mouse for $50 ($13 off)

Amazon, Target, Best Buy

The ambidextrous design of the Viper allows for easy clicking, scrolling, and kiting, no matter whether you're a rightie or leftie. Its more expensive sibling made our list of the Best Gaming Mice. The built-in RGB lighting and physical switches allow for more customization, and the small footprint won't get in the way of doing what you do best: throwing the entire game. (Is that just me?)

Samsung Odyssey G7 27-Inch Gaming Monitor for $580 ($70 off)

Amazon, Best Buy

This curved gaming monitor supports both Nvidia G-Sync and AMD's FreeSync, so you'll get smooth gameplay with whatever graphics card powers your PC. It has a fast refresh rate, and it should be able to keep up with whatever your computer is throwing at it. This deal is about $30 higher than the lowest price we've seen for the monitor. Considering the supply shortage affecting PC parts and peripherals so heavily, it's still a good deal (and much easier to stomach than its MSRP).

Arlo security camera

Arlo Pro 4 camera.

Photograph: ArloArlo Pro 4 Security Camera Bundle for $400 ($200 off)

Best Buy

The Arlo Pro 4 is one of the Best Outdoor Security Cameras, but it can also be used inside. This bundle includes three cameras, four rechargeable batteries, a charging station, anti-theft mounts, and a yard sign. This is a standout deal compared to the cost of buying each component separately. Just note that you'll need to subscribe to Arlo Secure, starting at $3 per month, to make the most of the available features.

Roomba i7+ Robot Vacuum for $600 ($150 off)

Best Buy

This price is $50 higher than the lowest we've seen for this robot vacuum (9/10, WIRED Recommends). It will probably dip back down again closer to Black Friday. The vac packs plenty of perks, including smart maps and a carpet agitator for thorough cleaning. After each session, it'll even empty out its own dust bin. For additional picks, check our guide to the Best Robot Vacuums.

Lenovo Smart Clock for $35 ($45 off)

Best Buy

This little smart display can show you the weather and time at a glance, and it also has Google Assistant built-in (though the functionality is a bit compromised by the tiny 4-inch screen). We like the built-in USB-A port, which can be used to charge your other smart gadgets without quite so many cords cluttering up the bedside. This deal has popped up a few times, but it's still a good way to upgrade your nightstand without spending a ton of cash.

Echo Show 5 (1st Gen) for $40 ($40 off)

Amazon

The $40 price is a match of the lowest in this product's history, though it's important to note that this (like all Amazon devices) goes on sale very frequently. WIRED first reviewed it in 2019, and there's a newer generation out now, but for $40 this is a better buy than it would be at full price. The newer model will likely be on sale for not much more on Black Friday.

LG C1 OLED TV

LG C1 OLED.

Photograph: LGLG C1 OLED 65-Inch TV for $1,297 ($200 off)

Amazon, Best Buy, Target

The LG C1 (8/10, WIRED Recommends) is a fantastic TV, especially for gamers, since it has Nvidia G-Sync support (meaning it works as well as a massive gaming monitor as it does for watching Netflix). The OLED display means intense contrast with deep blacks and bright colors. If you're trying to ball out on a TV this Black Friday, this is a good call.

Roku Streaming Stick 4K+ for $40 ($20 off)

Best Buy

We're still in the process of testing this device, but so far it's good. It has voice control features that work similarly to other smart home assistants, plus headphones for quiet binge-watching. The also-good Roku Streaming Stick 4K is on sale for $30, a $20 discount. It has fewer features but should still do the trick for most folks. Here's our Roku Buying Guide for additional information on the full, extensive lineup.

Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K for $25 ($25 off)

Amazon, Best Buy, Target

An Amazon Fire TV Stick is a good choice for those already invested in Amazon's ecosystem (though it has the requisite options for Hulu, Netflix, and other non-Amazon streaming services too). This price matches the lowest we've seen.

Roku Ultra for $70 ($30 off)

Amazon, Best Buy, Target

The Roku Ultra is one of the best streaming devices around. It's particularly great for live TV. It fluctuates in price between $70 and $90 pretty regularly, and it might get cheaper closer to Black Friday, but based on its pricing history we're betting any additional discounts won't be too much steeper.

TP-Link Deco X20 Wi-Fi 6 Mesh System 3-Pack for $200 ($20 off)

Amazon, B&H

At $200, this 3-pack is down to a match of the best we have seen for it, though it's not a huge discount. This system is the runner-up in our Best Mesh Wi-Fi Routers guide. We think it offers great bang for your buck, and it balances performance and features with overall solid coverage and speeds.

Deals on Everything ElseImage may contain Bag and Briefcase

Moment Rugged Camera Sling.

Photograph: MomentMoment Rugged Camera Sling for $120 ($30 off)

Moment

Moment's Rugged Camera Sling is the Best Camera Bag you can buy. It's weatherproof, with a modular organizing system, a ton of pockets, and a comfortable fit. Our tester called the magnetic clip system “ingenious.” This deal is one of the better price drops we've tracked for the bag. It's part of a larger Moment sale.

Moment MTW Camera Backpack for $100 ($30 off)

Moment

This is WIRED's top pick for the best photography backpack. It features handy easy-access pockets and storage for extra lenses or memory cards. The bag is as cheap as we've ever seen it, and the deal price applies to both the 17-liter and 21-liter sizes. Our testers recommend going for the bigger size unless you are a particularly light packer.

Dyson V8 Motorhead Cordless Vacuum for $250 ($130 off)

Target

This deal is so good, we gave it its own story. The Dyson V8 Motorhead is lightweight and cordless, and it's perfect for quick cleanups or small spaces. Our guide to the Best Dyson Vacuums may also be helpful.

35 Percent off Elephant In A Box Couches

Elephant in a Box

In our guide to the best couches you can buy online, we included this brand's easy-to-assemble sofa not because it was supremely comfortable, but because it is so affordable. This sitewide sale makes it even more so. The company says this discount will be better than what's offered on Black Friday.

Buy Two Get One Free Books, Board Games, and Video Games

Target

When shopping for a bunch of kids, it's easy to overspend. This sale offers hundreds of ways to save a bit of cash. There are a ton of items to choose from, so it's worth a look to see if anything on your shopping list aligns with the selection.
